Purposes and legal bases of processing

Personal data is processed in particular for the purpose of:

• performing services or contracts concluded with the Controller,
• handling enquiries sent through the contact form, by e-mail or through other available channels of communication,
• contacting persons interested in the Controller's services,
• meeting the legal obligations incumbent on the Controller, in particular tax and accounting obligations,
• establishing, exercising or defending against possible claims,
• ensuring the security of the website and preventing abuse,
• carrying out marketing activities, where there is a legal basis for them or the appropriate consent has been given.

The legal basis for processing may in particular be Article 6(1)(a), (b), (c) or (f) of the GDPR, depending on the purpose and circumstances of the processing.

Retention period

Personal data is kept for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.

Data processed in connection with the performance of a contract may be kept for the term of the contract and thereafter for the time necessary for the limitation periods of any claims to expire.

Data processed in order to meet legal obligations will be kept for the period required by the applicable law.

Where consent is the basis for processing, the data will be processed until the consent is withdrawn, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject has the following rights, to the extent provided for by the GDPR:

• the right of access to their personal data,
• the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data,
• the right to erasure of data (the “right to be forgotten”),
• the right to restriction of processing,
• the right to data portability,
• the right to object to the processing of data,
• the right to withdraw consent to processing at any time, where processing is based on consent.

The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych) if they consider that the processing of their personal data infringes data protection law.

The content published on the Website is for information only. In particular, it does not constitute legal advice or an offer within the meaning of the applicable law.

The content and composition of the Website are a work protected by copyright. Without the consent of the owner of the Website, the content or elements of the Website may not be used for commercial purposes.

Cookies

The website uses cookies, which are small text files stored on the user's device while the website is being used.

Cookies may be used in order to:

• ensure that the website works properly,
• remember the user's settings and preferences,
• make the website more convenient to use,
• analyse how the website is used and compile statistics,
• carry out marketing activities, where the user has consented to them.

The user can change their cookie settings at any time through the settings of their web browser. Restricting or disabling some cookies may, however, affect how certain elements of the website work.

The only element of the Website that comes from a third party is the Google map embedded in the Contact section, provided by Google Ireland Limited. The map does not load on its own: the Website connects to Google's servers only once you have agreed by pressing “Show map”, and Google may then set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through the “Turn off the Google map” link in the footer of the Website. The Website uses no analytics or advertising tools and no social media plug-ins.
